I felt the same way about my father but when they are gone from your life is when you'll miss them the most (Even if they weren't the greatest parent in the world).

Don't feel down about what your mother may do. my mother was the same way. Chastising me for every little thing I did and rarely offering sentimental words of praise when I needed them. I never let her ruin my day!

Is the "no internet and phone" thing an income problem or what? I'd like to look into helping out on this if it is, but then again I don't know the problem surrounding this.

This rings pretty true for me as well Shirayuki. It's hard to get by when your day to day just isn't as boring as you would want it to be. I used to feel like I was constantly walking on egg shells, and then whenever I tried hard, I never saw a reward or upside. Eventually I stopped trying. But then I found love and the inspiration to keep on keepin on!

When you're out of your mother's house one day, you'll be able to enjoy normal life finally. My mom now is like a different person from who she was when we lived under the same roof. We call each other constantly and the conversations are happy and supportive.
