Applications are now open for the Windows beta test of Final Fantasy XIV!
You must have a Square Enix account to submit an application for the beta. If you’re one of the lucky applications that gets selected, you’ll be notified via e-mail.

We’ve previously reported on the campaign code for FFXIV that will be included with first edition copies of FFXIII in Japan. Famitsu had reported that the promotion was only for Japan but we haven’t had official confirmation of that until now.

It has just been announced that Final Fantasy XIII will see a North American and European release date of March 9 2010.
What does this have to do with Final Fantasy XIV though? A March release for FFXIII would mean that at the earliest FFXIV would be released during the summer. Though it should also be [...]

Square Enix has once again updated their official website – this time with information on two of the Disciples of War – the Gladiator and Pugilist. Square Enix has also identified some of the arms that each class will use. Let’s see what’s new and perhaps later will have some analysis…

The latest release of the Distant Worlds newsletter reveals some of the tracks premiering at the Chicago Distant Worlds Concert being held December 12th.
Included in the batch of tracks is further evidence of the Eorzea and Earth premiere of scores from Final Fantasy XIV that will be played during the concert.
