Awhile back we had heard rumblings about Square Enix Crysta being used after the merger of SE Members with SE Accounts in Japan. It seems that with the recent Square Enix Account maintenance, one of the new payment features will be “Crysta”.

Two popular Japanese fan sites (eLeMeN and FF14Fan) have reported that Square Enix will be having a special event to mark the launch of Final Fantasy XIV on September 14th in Ebisu, Japan at The Garden Hall.

We received news today that the codes the community is currently using will be changing when the open beta goes live. It’s been mentioned that Final Fantasy XI players that make the move over to Final Fantasy XIV may see some type of bonus. Today those bonuses are revealed! Note that these bonuses are exclusive to the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV. PlayStation 3 bonuses will be announced at a later time.
